While I didn't know Bette well, the time I did get to spend with her made an impression on me. She was so happy, kind and welcoming from the moment we met. I loved to see the close relationship she maintained with her children and how much love she had to share. She will be deeply missed.

My thoughts are with the Brown family. Bette was a wonderful woman with such a caring heart. It was such a pleasure knowing her from the time I was a little girl. I am also very grateful that I got to see her during the holidays and tried to learn how to make the perfect bow from her wonderful art and craft skills. She will be missed deeply.

My deepest condolences to Bette's entire family and her close friends. Although it has been 20+ years since I had the pleasure of working in the same store with Bette, I shall always remember her thoughtfulness, support, kindness to all, and the radiant smile that lit up the world around her. My prayers for comfort and peace...
