Dorothy was an important of the Marketing team at Southwest Wash. Med. Center. Every Tuesday, her organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of humor brightened our day. She was a loyal friend, gave wise counsel, brooked no foolishness but still let you know she cared. You will be missed, Dorothy.

Dorothy was my friend from the day I was hired in marketing and I would not have made it if it was not for her and Wilma showing me ropes. I am so sorry for your loss. Timi Jo

The staff and volunteers of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center are deeply saddened to hear of Dorothy's death. Dorothy joined our volunteer program in October 1992 and donated over 9178 hours of volunteer service at the hospital.
Dorothy was an integral part of the volunteer team in the hospitals Gift Shops. For many years she was a lead volunteer and coordinated the Gift Shop volunteer schedules each week. She assisted in the training of new Gift Shop volunteers and also served her own shifts in the Gift Shops; many weeks volunteering for three or more 4 hour shifts.
Profits from the hospital Gift Shops are used to fund the PHSW Health Care Career Scholarship Program. Dorothy sat on the scholarship committee for many years and helped hundreds of students take a step to achieve their dreams for a career in the healthcare field.
In her spare time, Dorothy also volunteered with the hospital's Marketing Department assisting with special projects and countless clerical duties.
Dorothy will be deeply missed by everyone at PeaceHealth Southwest.

I got to know Dorothy when I join the retired teachers' group. She was a delightful, entertaining and hard working person who I enjoyed talking with at our luncheons. Her sweet spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. God bless your family as you grieve. May many warm memories fill the empty space in your hearts.

We became good friends when the Flemings moved to Battle Ground, just across the street from us. That was a long time ago.
Dennis and Diane, I am very sorry none of my family can be with you at
this time to express our sympathy in person.

So many wonderful memories of growing up in (what once was) our small town of Battle Ground and having the Flemings as my neighbors. Mrs. Fleming was a very special lady and I am so fortunate to have known her (and her family). Love and Prayers sent~

Our children will be sad to learn of her passing. She was a phenomenal teacher and created a wonderful, caring environment for kids and parents. There are many avid readers out there due to her efforts. So glad to have known her.
