John Lee Romig of Vancouver, WA, passed away on March 6, 2013. He was born in Saskatchewan, Canada to Herman and Mary Romig. He graduated from Vancouver High School in 1951.
John served in the National Guard for 20 years. He worked at Crown Zellerbach of three years and as a plant manager for Valvoline Oil for 36 years.
John was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
John is survived by his wife, Kay Romig; and four children, Debra Walker, Gregory Romig, Teresa Freiburger and Douglas Romig.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale and Bill Romig; and sister, Joyce Murphy.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., March 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be sent to Children's Trust Fund at the Elks Lodge Association.
