It was so depressing to see Andy's decline from this past summer to 1 Nov. He was always so active and talented with that typical welcoming smile shown above. My heart felt sympathy and prayers to all his family.

Dear Anderson Family,

We had the privilege of knowing Andy for just two short years. He was a neighbor - he bought his home from the Parrish Ranches. Ben is the son of Carl Parrish and we moved back to the Prairie in 2008 when we both retired. Andy was very hospitable whenever we walked down to visit with him. He was very proud of his carvings and gave me a small boot that he just finished. God Bless all of you and be with you during this time of great loss.

Bill and I were neighbors and often walked down to visit with Andy. He also enjoyed dancing (as we do) and we saw him often at the dances. We have missed him since he moved and so sorry to hear of his passing. May God comfort the family and all who loved him. Bill and Helen Kearns

I will miss my "Uncle Spud". He sometimes called me "Hootenanny" when I was little. I loved his stories of the all the fun and crazy times our parents had together. He could have written a great book! When I was small he would take me for a ride on his horse and I felt like a princess holding on to this handsome, strong man. I would tell all my friends that my Uncle Spud looked like Paul Newman! He was definitely one of my favorites! You can bet there's plenty of dancing going on with the whole Anderson clan now that "Andy" has joined the reunion in heaven and I'm sure he brought his harmonica.

We have missed Andy so much since he moved from our community. He was always such a happy person who spread his joy to those around him. He was a bright part of the Columbia Gorge town of Lyle and we loved him greatly.
