WENDY MARIE WEAVER
October 5, 1972 ~ December 19, 2013
Wendy was a wonderful daughter, sister, and aunt, but most importantly an amazingly brave and caring mother of 3 boys, Wyatt, Cole, and Gavin. She loved her boys dearly and touched the lives of many people.
Her strength was an inspiration to all that knew her and her bright smile contagious. Her courageous battle against breast cancer would have exhausted any person, but Wendy was special.
Her life lives on through her children, family, and friends. Wendy, you will never be forgotten.
Funeral is Saturday, December 28th, 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 W. 39th St. Following the service will be a reception.

Wendy was always so smiley and outgoing; she was easy to know & always a pleasure to have in our home! Deep sadness came the day we found she would be leaving us.
We´ll always remember you, Wendy~

Wendy was a beautiful person inside and out who will always live on in our memories. Her battle with cancer was an example of her strength and positive attitude and she will always be an inspiration to me, as well as many others. I have many memories of Wendy from our high school years, the majority filled with laughter. I will always remember what a wonderful laugh she had. I am so thankful to have had her as a friend.
I wish peace and comfort to her boys and family as they deal with this loss. May you be surrounded by love and by her wonderful legacy. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Many fond memories from high school include adventures shared with Wendy. She knew how to create fun, have fun and generate pee-your-pants kind of laughter. She never appeared intimidated by circumstances or people (which often hold us back from going after what we want). Because of that fearlessness, Wendy lived life fully. She artfully danced a dance that incorporated being a responsible teen/young adult and being a rule breaking, free spirit. :)
To Wendy – I'm lucky to have shared a stint of your earthly journey. My love for you carries on.
To her family – May you forever feel comforted by her spiritual presence, and experience an occasional sign she offers to let you know her love and watchfulness is always close by.
Love,
Heather

Dean, Lori, Karis and Lindsey Howell are so sad to hear the news that Wendy lost the battle against breast cancer. We lived across the street from the Weaver family and watched Wendy thrive from the day she was born until we moved and she had become a loving and caring mom. Our heart is mourning for her entire family today, on Christmas. We have so many wonderful memories of Wendy in pictures that are now so precious.
