Dan will be remembered as an avid gardener sharing his produce and recipes with friends and family. He was an excellent resource for landscaping, carpentry, and woodworking projects. Dan was a talented musician and gifted trumpet technician, building horns for musicians worldwide. He loved the Badgers and the Packers and attended their games and enjoyed playing golf at Lake Windsor with friends whenever possible.
Daniel is survived by his parents, David and Rosalind Haswell of DeForest; brothers, Tim, of Deforest and Jeff (Renee) Haswell of Tehachapi, CA. In addition, he leaves many friends, co-workers, traveling companions, aunts, uncles, and cousins who were so important to him. He was very appreciative of those who were supportive to him.

I'm devistated. I'm just now learning of this. I wondered why he never replies to my text messages during SuperBowl. God this is horrible news. I will miss him dearly.

I will remember Dan as not only one of the best brass instrument artisans around, but someone who liked people for their individual qualities and sought to be helpful and positive. We had too little time with you Dan, but I am glad to have known you. RIP
