NANCY HELEN GILES ANDERSON
July 11, 1931 ~ September 5, 2013
Nancy Anderson, 82, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Sept. 5, 2013. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY to Herbert and Helen Giles. She moved to this area and graduated from Fort Vancouver High School.
Nancy later went to Clark College and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education, where she was on the deans honor roll.
She spent her working career as a pre-school teachers assistant and spent the last 20 years working at Allwood Manor Christian pre-school.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert A. Anderson of Vancouver; daughter, Michele S. Anderson of Battle Ground, WA; sons, Robert M. Anderson of Salem, OR and John R. Anderson (Lilibeth) of Vancouver; grandchildren, Tyler Magennis of Battle Ground, Cory Anderson and Tony Anderson of Salem, OR, Dustin Hendrickson of Salem, OR, Jessica and Rosiefe Anderson of Vancouver; and her brother, Dale Giles (Nancy) of Vancouver.
A memorial service will be held Mon., Sept. 9, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
