MICHAEL C. ABERNATHY
October 11, 1949 ~ July 21, 2013
Michael passed away on July 21, 2013 while surrounded by loving daughters. He was born in Rolla, MO to Ewing and Gladys Abernathy.
Mike was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Coast Guard. He worked 38 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. Mike loved the ocean, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his mother Gladys in MO; four daughters, Lori Bryant (Jesse), Shannon Mackey (Mike), Lisa Snyder (Jeff), Becky Abernathy; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and more loved family members in MO.
A Celebration of Life will be at the home of his daughter Lori (22200 NE Worthington Road, Yacolt) on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from noon until 5:00pm.
