Fred Howard passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10, 2013.
Fred is survived by his two children, Melanie Smith and Mark Howard; and his three grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Samantha Smith, and Chad Howard.
Fred was born in Los Angeles County, California. He served in the Navy as a young man and then pursued his lifelong career in sales which relocated him to Washington State. He quickly fell in love with drift boat fishing on the East Fork of the Lewis River for steel head. His career took him back to California in 1985. Fred again resided in So. California where he enjoyed his favorite hobbies of golfing and boating. Once retired, his boating excursions took him most frequently to Santa Catalina Island.
Our dad was a wonderful father and grandfather and he will be missed by all of us very much.
