Bob hired me right out of college as a probation officer. I am forever grateful for that vote of confidence. He set me on a meaningful career that lasted 34 years. He brought pride and dignity to the Juvenile Court.

The three of us here at HAIRCUTS were sorry to see that Mr. Axlund has passed away. Bob was a fine man who always had a story or two or three. A great customer for decades. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. A real gentleman.

Dear Marilyn,
You and Dear Bob, are it the top of my favorite political friends.
I recall a couple of very fun gatherings at your home. Only wish we could do it again!
I missed you both when you were no longer able to be politically active and I miss you now.
Ben recently had two serious heart (6 way by-pass) attacks. So we are no longer active in the community.
The Blessing is, that we ALL did ALL we could, to make this a better place to live. We know the huge contribution you and Bob made, it is priceless.
Love to you & your family, With Warm Regard, June Gassaway.
