PHILIP DAVID BURGESS
December 28, 1943 ~ April 11, 2018
Philip Burgess, 74, of Battle Ground passed away April 11, 2018. He was born in Tacoma, WA to Earl Burgess and Grace Poe.
Phil worked for Clark County as Director of Weed/ Vegetation Management and received many awards. He invented the JK Injection Tool which is sold worldwide.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, time in the woodshop, spending time with family and working the land.
He is survived by his wife Linda; brother Weldon; three sons: Dwayne, Brian and Kevin; two daughters, Kelsea Lau and Dezi Dahlgren; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His parents passed away when he was a teenager and his only sister, Earlene Roberts preceded him in 2015.
The memorial service will take place, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Bible Church of the Nazarene, located at 12401 NE Salmon Creek Ave., Vancouver.
