I had the pleasure of meeting Rosalie many years ago when she served as an assistant to a special education student in my classroom. Sadly, when she moved away we lost touch as the years passed. My husband, Dale, and I did visit her one year in her new home and had such a wonderful time with her. At that time she was active in politics and still was sharing her love for music with others. I will always remember how she loved to laugh and was always so positive. I am so sorry that Dale and I never saw her again. I will never forget you, Rosalie.

Rosalie was a very special person. Her "joie de vivre", enthusiasm for all things music, and her beautiful smile will live on in my memory. One of my fondest memories of Rosalie was The Columbian article "The Sopranos" Sunday, April 30, 2006. She was beautiful, inside and out and will be missed.
