JOSEPHINE "JO" MARIE (OLNEY) BEVARD
May 9, 1960 ~ April 8, 2017
Jo Bevard passed away from complications due to lung cancer on April 8, 2017. She was surrounded by loved ones, including: son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Jennifer Olney; sister, Pam McDonald; and niece, Heather Eldridge. Jo is also survived by her sister, Shawn Hart; and brother-in-law, Herb McDonald.
Jo was born to Delbert Leroy Olney and Wanda Marie Singer on May 9, 1960. She was preceded in death by them as well as her sister, April Ingle; and husband, Gary Bevard.
Jo will be remembered for her generous spirit,
huge heart, and passion for animals.
She always referred to raising her only child, Brett, as her greatest accomplishment. Brett was her pride and joy, Jo absolutely loved being a mother.
She loved all holidays, especially Halloween, the 4th of July, and Christmas. Christmas was especially fun for Jo as she loved giving gifts and all of the decorating and treats that came with the season. She also enjoyed taking trips with her late husband to Long Beach, Washington. Jo loved to watch her beloved dogs run around on the beach.

There will be a memorial gathering at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017. It will be held at Union Chapel in Vancouver, Washington at 806 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Humane Society or a dog rescue of your choice.
