KENNETH ARLIS LEE
March 11, 1936 ~ December 27, 2013
On Dec. 27, 2013, Kenneth Lee, age 77, passed away in his home in Portland, OR. Family members were present and assured us his unexpected passing was peaceful as he left this world to join Jesus and our loved ones waiting in Heaven. He was born to Landon Lee and Carmen Night-Lee in Angular, CO in 1936, but soon after came to Vancouver, WA with his mother and father. He attended McLoughlin JR High and finished his school days at Vancouver High School in Vancouver, WA.
Shortly after finishing his high school years, he met Gloria Jean Clark-Lee, and was married in 1957.
Kenny was a good man who worked hard as a Boiler-Maker, Piper Fitter for Northwest Pipe and Casing for 30 years until he retired in 1990.
Kenny enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter but his most enjoyable moments were spent on the East Fork of the Lewis River Fishing for Steelhead.
Kenny was very loved and cherished by all his family members who miss him and are grieved by his sudden passing. He didn't care for organized religion but rest assured he knew who his Lord and Savior is and will be seeing us in Heaven some day.
Thank you dad, brother, and grandfather,
for always being there when we needed you
and also for loving us so unconditionally.
He was very close to his brothers, sisters, children
and grandchildren. His passing will be hard-felt by many. You will be dearly missed by everyone.
Survivors include one son, Kalvin Mitchel Lee of Dalles, OR; one daughter, Pamela Renee Lee-Ruth of Portland, OR; five grandchildren, Elizebeth Clark of Spokane, WA, Marlyssa Solomonca of Vancouver, WA, Jessica Ruth- Martin of Vancouver, WA, Taran Almsted of Goldendale, WA, and Dylan Lee Ruth of Portland, OR; six brothers, Roy Lee of Battle Ground, WA, Don Lee of Portland, OR, James Lee of Battle Ground, WA, Keith Lee of Portland, OR, David Lee of Woodland, WA and Doug Lee of Vancouver, WA. He also was blessed with four wonderful sisters, Jerry Stewart of Vancouver, WA, Ima Jean Sanders of Vancouver, WA, Lorrainne Hunter of Vancouver, WA, and Mary Jo Alfonso of Mesa, AZ.
There is a Celebration of Life ceremony at 1503 N. Hayden Island Drive in Portland, OR on January 11, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Club House of the Hayden Island Mobile Home Park. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, WA next to his wife Gloria Jean Clark-Lee, who preceded him in death in 1987.

Kenny was my nephew. He was 9 years younger than me. I use to love to hold him. I thought he was the cutest baby and he grew into a handsome man. Loved you Kenny.
