Marge, So sorry to hear of Wally's passing. He was a good friend to all.
He took Leonard to a wine shop and helped him select good wines for our liking. Leonard enjoyed their day together. We have good memories with you and Wally at St. Paul Church. Blessings to you and your family. Sincerely, Leonard and Joyce Holland

Mr Hornberger you were a great manager of the payless in orchards. You were my boss and you were always so nice you treated us like family. I may have seen you just a few times over the years but you always seemed to remember me. Debbie (Hegstad) Campbell.

When we moved to RECOA across the drive from Wally he became our instant friend and guide to our new condo residence. As time passed we found Wally knew and interacted with many of the folks in the business community. He knew where to go and whom to see. His quick wit and wondeful smile always made you "feel better" on a blue day, or left you with a smile on a good one.
He will be missed.

Wally was the best neighbor, friend, welcomer, encourager we could have ever asked for! Always positive - with a quick quip for the day, as the shiny black Caddy swung into the driveway - a ray of sunshine, a nugget of life wisdom!
Both a private and public person, he always looked out for the broader community, tirelessly applying his many talents to make it a better place to live. Thank you, Wally!

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever. We are so sorry that we haven't kept in touch and will always remember Wally's wonderful smile. We are still loving the house he so diligently led us to so many years ago. May you be comforted in your loss by realizing how much Wally meant to so many.
