I did not mean to leave my message of admiration of Elizebeth as "Anonymous." I will always have great Elizebeth memories. She definately was the role model for so many of us. Quiet, gracious, unassuming, friendly, humorous, and caring were all the ways that I will always remember Elizebeth.

Even though I only met you once, I felt like I had known you for years. Your granddaughter JoeAnne brought me over to meet you and true to what the family said, you offered us food..cookies if I remember right. You made me feel welcome the minute we walked in. We also shared a love for teddy bears and talked about your collection and my collection. You will be missed, but you leave behind many wonderful memories and a wonderful family who will keep your memory alive.

Elizebeth was a wonderful role model for me. She was a gracious host and a wonderful listener. When I visited with her, she remembered where my own kids were living and other details about them.
Two things I will always remember about Elizebeth are:
She talked about her life with Herman and how happy they were together.
The other is trivial but true. Elizebeth said that she lived as long and as well as she did because she ate oatmeal for breakfast. I loved that about her and I eat oatmeal for breakfast as often as I can!
Good bye Elizebeth, you were a very caring and nonjudgemental person and a truly caring person to have in my life.
