ORVAL EUGENE MCCLUNG
December 3, 1924 ~ April 21, 2014

Orval Eugene McClung of Washougal, WA, passed away on April 21, 2014. He was 89. He was born on Dec. 3, 1924 to William and Lura McClung in Omaha, NE. He was a former resident of Roseburg and Dillard, OR.
Orval was a Pastor and member of Calvary Community Church of Camas, WA and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He did some missionary work in Haiti and Mexico. He enjoyed preaching, and was a great mechanic from lawn mowers to ships. He also was the head of transportation for Cook County Schools.
Orval is survived by his wife, Irene McClung; daughters, Bonnie (Neil) Hansen and Nancy (Elton) Gable; sons, William "Bill" (Shirley) McClung, Gary (Gloria) McClung and David McClung; brother, Charlie McClung; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
There will be a viewing scheduled for Sun., April 27, from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, WA. There will be a graveside service on Mon., April 28, at 9:00 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR. There will be a Celebration of Life service on May 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Community Church in Camas, WA.
