NATALIE DORIS (PEARSON) BLUE
January 29,1926 ~ January 16, 2014

Natalie Doris (Pearson) "Grandma Blue", went to heaven January 16th, 2014 while at home and surrounded by her family. She was the first of three children born to Robert and Marie Otth Pearson. She spent her school years in North Adams, MA and Newport, RI.
After high school, she married Ralph Burdick and started her family. Natalie and Ralph moved west after he served his country in the European Campaign of WWII. After short stops in Arco, ID and the Tri-Cities, they finally settled in Clark County where they bought a home in the Sifton area.
Natalie retired from Crown Zellerbach in 1982 where she was the first female employee to work in their laboratory facility.
She loved to play her accordion and piano. Natalie enjoyed cruises of at least 14 days (the longer the better), traveling to her mother's homeland of Switzerland, camping, rock hunting, wintering in warmer climates, her home in Ocean Park, her Bunco group, playing Scrabble, Pinochle and watching Perry Mason.
Her life was filled with the love of her children, grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sylvia.
Natalie is survived by her brother, Robert "Bob" Pearson; daughter, Sylvia Sue Weich (Randy); sons, Ralph Burdick (Suzanne), Joseph Burdick (Linda) and Mike Burdick (Nancy); 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one Gizmo.
A life-celebration gathering will be announced at a later date.
