MARRABELL EDNA SCHULZ
December 4, 1921 ~ February 20, 2013

Marrabell Edna Schulz, 91, passed away on Feb. 20, 2013. She has lived the last three years in Vancouver, WA with her daughter Sandra Farrell. Marrabell was born on Dec. 4, 1921 to Harley and Leona Been in Mt. Ayr, IA and grew up in the little town of Tingley, IA.
On Sept. 28, 1941, she eloped with Lawrence "Earl" Schulz. They had two children: Sandra and Fred. In 1948 they moved to Lebanon, OR where they worked and raised their family.
Marrabell worked for many years at the cannery in Stayton, OR, where she was a "Floor Lady". She was also a Tupperware sales representative in the early days of Tupperware. Marrabell was a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. She was also a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Lebanon and the Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Vancouver.
Marrabell and Earl moved to Vancouver, WA in 2002 to be closer to family and friends.
" Marrabell loved to cook and was known for her
hospitality in that department. She loved anything tasty!"
She also loved to crochet and made numerous afghan's for anyone needing to snuggle. Marrabell loved visiting with family and friends near and far. She knew how to use her cell phone VERY well.
Marrabell is survived by her daughter, Sandra; and her very dear grandchildren: Kim Pearson, Damon Gano, Dodie Harsh and Beau Schulz. She was extremely proud of her nine great-grandchildren; and she was blessed to have two bonus grandchildren: Diane Mortenson and Debbie Herman and their families in her life.
She was preceded in death by Earl, her husband of 67 years; and her son, Fred Schulz.
A service in her honor will be held at Family of Christ Lutheran Church on Fri., March 8 at 10:00 a.m. Later that same day, a reception will be held in Lebanon, OR, at the Lebanon Public Library Community Room from 4:00- 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to celebrate with her family.
