November 15, 1935 ~ July 15, 2014

Longtime time resident of Vancouver, WA, Lorine Myles, passed away on July 15, 2014. Born Nov. 15, 1935 in Amarillo, TX, at the age of 8, Lorine and her parents moved to Vancouver.
For over 25 years she served as the church secretary for Community A.M.E. Zion Church.
Fondly referred to by friends and family as "Lo", she baked bread, cakes, and cookies for everyone to enjoy.
Breast cancer survivors, Lorine and daughter, Sharon Myles-Johnson, were champions within their community for breast cancer awareness. Sadly both mother and daughter completed life's race a day apart, July 15 (Lorine) and July 16 (Sharon), 2014.
She is survived by sons, Dornald and Arnold (Cortonio); daughter-in-law, Gwyn; son-in-law, Curtis Johnson; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A homegoing service for Lorine and Sharon will be held Tues., July 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 401 E 33rd St., Vancouver, WA 98663.
