JESSE "EARL" DEAN
June 8, 1932 ~ June 13, 2014

Earl lived life to the fullest, always busy with one project or another. Born in Vancouver, WA to Hazel and Jess Dean. Earl attended Vancouver High. He was an accomplished young acrobat whom joined the circus at age 17, served in the Korean War, attended Clark College, and worked as a machinist at Columbia Machine. In the late 1950's, Earl perfected his trade as a Mason, where he showed pride as a Contractor and Builder for over 40 years, primarily in Clark County, WA
Earl leaves behind " the Love of his Life ", his wife, Sandy, of 58 years; his only sibling, Leona (Derrel) Coffield; 3 children, Steven (Margi), Kelly and Toni (David) Shaw; 5 grandchildren; Tara, Jamie, Joe, Jessalyn and Ashlyn; 9 great-grandchildren, Tamara, Isaiah, Liam, Israel, Aurora, Ephraim, Ethan, Elias, Lucas and #10 Eliana on her way.
Besides the love for his family, Earl had a passion for restoring classic cars. Affectionately called "Earl the Pearl", he was a longtime member of the Slo Poks car club and could be seen driving his blue '32 model B pickup or drag racing at PIR and Woodburn raceways.
