DONALD HARRY LINDGREN
September 23,1923 ~ April 18, 2013
Donald H. Lindgren was born in Portland, Oregon and lived many places during his childhood. He graduated from Camas High School in 1941 and from the University of Washington following his return from WWII where he served in the 70th Division of the Army.
He married Genevieve Belz in 1946 and enjoyed 66 years of marriage. He was an architect in Vancouver and designed over 80 churches in the Northwest, as well as many college buildings for George Fox University.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve and his four daughters, Marilyn Delano, Janice Younce, Karen Cooper, and Lonnelle Sawyer, all of Vancouver. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Don was a member of Vancouver First Friends Church, Purple Heart Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion. He leaves a legacy of love for his Lord Jesus as well as love for his family.

Uncle Don was zs wonderful person and family man. Our families enjoyed eachother very much. He was a kind, gentle man and a Christian. We KNOW he is in Heaven now really enjoying life. We miss you but you are HOME.

My daughter (his great grand daughter) was born on his 88th birthday. Every year i will celebrate his life. I love you grandpa.
